You're both right, but a little late.  Microsoft has already learned
from their mistake... they announced a few months after the release of
MSC6 that the next version (7.0) would include on-line docs, and also
C++.  If things are still going according to schedule, this should be
released around the time of Windows 3.1.

In the meantime, I suggest that anyone who can afford it use the best
of both worlds.  Do your development in Borland C, and then compile
in MSC6A before you sell your product.  MSC6A is harder and slower to
use, but it optimizes better and has less bugs.  Of course, if you
need to use C++ or some non-portable functions, you can forget this
plan.

Do you have an ETA on MSC 7.0?  If this is true, I may wait and see
instead of switching right away.  I would expect (demand) that after
the $125.00 + s&h for the 6.0a upgrade that the next upgrade be 
FREE *** FREE *** FREE *** FREE ***

Hell, I'll even pay the shipping!
