[comp.os.msdos.programmer] Redirection of Output

     I have recently installed an HP-IL interface card on my PC. I have
connected an HP Plotter (with an IL interface) to this card. I can plot
HPGL files by dumping them to the plotter: type filename.ext >> HPILPLT.
The driver designates the plotter as HPILPLT.

     How can I set up my system so that this plotter becomes LPT2? I would
like to access this plotter from software packages as my second printer.
I have tried the MODE command, but it didn't work. Any suggestions?
