I've seen C++ 2.0 at ONE place around here, that was at the Soft Warehouse
and they wanted something like $325. I called Borland and they also wanted
some outrageous amount of money for it and they said they they didn't have
discounts for Microsoft C owners (I have it) the way they had for Turbo
C++. The only way to get it cheap seems to be to buy Turbo C++ (it's still
available) and then upgrade.
Is it possible to buy it at a reasonable price (< $150) right now? How?

Borland offers substantial educational discounts. I ordered my copy for $99.95. Of course tuition might set you back a bit.

One mighty question... I have received my Borland C++ 2.0 (on 18 March, I believe). Now... How the HELL do I know if I received the heretofore- overly-discussed Help Compiler?? I haven't really had a chance to mess with the software at all, so I can't tell. Has the compiler even been sent to anyone yet? I know that upon registering, those that don't have it will receive it. So, I just need the info. Thanks a ton... Mark C. "Bro!" Lowe - KB5III
