Is this the appropriate place to discuss Dbase (III +) programming issues. I don't see it being discussed much (any?). Is there another newsgroup where Dbase is discussed? Does anybody really know what time it is? I've got a consulting job coming up in a couple of weeks and I'm winging it; sort of. I've got Dbase and a good text, and it looks like a VHL (very high level) language, so it should be a snap. --- I know: ReAl PrOgRaMmErS [tm] don't program in Dbase! There's a dBASE mailing list (I posted info to comp.databases recently, if it's expired on your system I can repost it). It also occasionally comes up on comp.databases - which is refreshing, since I neither have nor want to do anything with SQL. And who knows, if the PC DBMS traffic becomes "excessive", maybe they'll push for a comp.databases.msdos area (-: (just kidding, folks) Doug -- Doug Sewell, Tech Support, Computer Center, doug@ysub.bitnet Youngstown State University, Youngstown, OH 44555 doug@ysub.ysu.edu I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove anything - Bart Simpson
