Would anyone who has heard anything more than advertising copy about
FoxPro's enhanced indexing care to comment on what Rushmore Technology
behaves like ? Would anyone care to stick their neck out and care to
comment on whether their indexing uses:
- low bit correlation hashing
- multi-page bucket algorithms
- arithmetic encoding of keys
MTIA.
I speak as one with inbridlable curiosity. And one who is implementing
a high-speed indexing system that uses all three of these academically
well-known but practically underused algorithms.
