I'm looking for some help with DOS codepage switching. We are working on an international product which requires the DOS international character set, via codepage 850. We'd like to have our software detect if the current codepage is 850 and automatically switch to it if it isn't. The initial codepage should be restored on program termination. I understand that DOS function 44H is relevant, but the DOS Technical manual is a little unclear (at least to me). I'd appreciate any help anyone can give me.
