One difference is that the 2nd Edition TC++ does NOT come with a
REFERENCE manual.  It includes the user's guide and programmers guide.
But the book with all of the parameters for library calls is not
available anymore.  I called Borland to complain about this and their
response was that that information is included On-line with the
second-edition.  They figure that the people who would be needing that
kind of reference would get the 'Professional' version (i.e. BC++). 

Personally, I don't like that at all, and I intend to write them and
formalize my complaint.  If you think Turbo C(++) should come with a
reference manual, I encourage you to let them know as well.
