[comp.os.msdos.programmer] Graphical front end for PKZIP

sorrow@oak.circa.ufl.edu (05/28/91)

Does anyone know of a graphical front end (i.e. file selection, interactive
archiving, etc.) for PKZIP? Would there be a demand for such a thing? A
backup program of sorts that uses shareware already on your system?

Just wondering,

Although they don't come with true graphics-mode interfaces, you'll
be facing an iron-tough competition from /pc/arcutil/shez62.zip and
/pc/arcutil/am557.zip, two of the definite stars of the shareware
scene.

Don't know if it qualify as graphic (I doubt, but it can use mouse), but
my preferred zip, arc, zoo, lhz and others you want to put in (and now that
I mention it, I'll have to had compress 12 bit for .Z...) called SHEZ.
I know I love it! Don't know if any FTP as it (I'm still too new to
Internet, and even then, I have to use CI$ mail to get any file from
Anon FTP), but I got mine from a User Group BBS.

TCTTYL!

See You around the 'Net!!
