  I think that Borland does a good job with Tech Support via
telephone.  They respond a lot better/faster if one has the problem
somewhat pinned down and a way to reproduce it identified (as would
any Tech Support).  In several cases, they have sent me patches via US
Mail because I am not a Compuserve subscriber.  They do a good but not
perfect job at it (support via Internet e-mail would be a big step
towards perfect) and are better than many of their competitors.

In the 3 or 4 times I have called Borland for Tech Help, I have
had execellent service in all but the first time I called.  If
you want to see what bad customer service is, try calling Hewlett
Packard!!  They treat you like a king until you actually buy something;
after that, forget it!
