Hope this is appropriate -- I would appreciate pointers on developing a "standard" contract for for freelance programming and consulting. If anyone has done this, I'd like to see a copy (electronic is fine) of the contract -- alternately, if there is a "fill in the blanks" form that is ftp'able, I'd like that too. Every consultant I've talked to has said that his/her early jobs have sour memories of "but we agreed to this" or "I thought that was included in our deal."
