Seriously, I was installing it around the end of March or beginning of April and that was after a 3 week wait to receive the package! The current version is BC++ 2.0. Actually, I think he was referring to a BC for Windows that is really a Windows app. Brian /* Brian Hook -- Specialist in X to ANSI.SYS porting software ----------------------------------------------------------------- "Seamus, that's my dog...I saw her today at the reception...sorry, sixTEEN inches....better save the women and children first...but this one goes to 11! ..anymore of that plutonium nyborg?....there can be only ONE!....like a finger pointing to the moon....ease the seat back...one day closer to death */

A better question (though, not quite fair) is will BC++ support the full SDK for version 3.1 of Windows... (Now in Beta Test... [We haven't installed it quite yet... but it supports fun stuff like light pen support and char reconization from *hand written* input from the pen..] I've used BC++ with code taken directly from work (where we use the SDK and MSC 5.1), and I've compiled it on Borland C++ 2.0 without a hitch.. I'm kinda worried about updates though... I know that the nifty functions above are implemented as a DLL, so all that BC++ would have to have is the interface library and documentation for the library calls... (And a license from MicroSoft to redistribute it!) --Just wondering... -Chert PS: No, you can't get a copy of it from me... -- Chert Pellett - chert@dungeon.lonestar.org A layman knows he has to kick it.
