I wish to make a Sun into a Motif application development platform.
Anyone who sells Motif libs, UIL, etc, AND documentation that can
get some novice X programmers going FAST, please reply.
Include $$ PRICES $$, please.
( I'd also like to hear from some o' you net.folks who have already
selected a supplier of Motif for a Sun. Any impressions, or
recommendations would be appreciated. Please include Vendor names
and contacts.)

XTech sell Motif binaries for all Sun architectures. All architectures come on one tape with a READTAPE script that can get you from opening of box to running of MWM in about 15 minutes. We got a Motif binary distribution for US$500 from: Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. 163 Harvard Street Cambridge, MA 02139 (617) 547-0510 Fax: (617) 547-0758 Email: info@ics.com We loaded it up on a SPARCstation 1 and it worked just fine. They've renamed the Xt libraries as Xtm so that your MIT Xt files are not clobbered, which is nice. Note that these are _not_ shared libraries, though.
