[comp.windows.x.motif] UIL compiler -- flame.

132 character line limit!?! At first I was able to live with this,
but now I want to make a help system using UIL. But if I can't set
the value of my text widget to a string longer than 132 characters,
how am I supposed set the value of my help text widget to something
meaningful? Yes, there are some ugly work arounds, such as using
multiple text widgets, but let us be real. Is this arcane restriction
fixed with 1.1 of Motif? I don't want to have to store my help text
in text files that I must read to set the value of the XmText with and
I can't keep my help text in code (that would not allow for foreign
translation). Moreover, why should I split up my help text from my
help screen. Have other people implemented different solutions than
these using UIL?
