This summer, our family (2 adults, 6 children between 18 and 8), traveling
by van and travel trailer, would like to spend 1-2 weeks in the "great
northwest". We have sent off to the OR and WA tourism bureaus, but would
appreciate hearing suggestions from those who have them.
So far, our schedule could be for any time during schools' summer break. We
picture ourselves setting up someplace for 3-5 days, making one day excursions
and moving to another base-camp. Any suggestions for either small regions
or for specific events, hence dates, which are particularly worthwhile?
