You seem to be missing the distinction between a Style Guide (and toolkit
defaults..) and 'Requirements'. XUI (aka DECwindows) only allowed MB2 to pop
up menus; Motif allows any button you choose, but recommends MB3 for
consistency. My apps allow the user to choose.
