Hey folks, I have seen postings mentioning problems with the main window widget. I have had such a problem until recently. As it turns out, an obscure sentence in the "documentation" actually described this "feature". If you use the work Window resource, you put some widget in there that you have (presumably) sized the way that you want it. If you read the "documentation" the workWindow resource has the following explanation "Specifies the widget ID of the viewing area". What it DOES NOT TELL YOU THERE BUT SHOULD is that if you use scrollbars (which certainly APPEAR to be a separate resource) their size is taken out of your work window size. WHY IS THIS? I don't understand why these separate resources must share this area on the screen. Still in the struggle, carl.
