I couldn't figure out how to resize a window at creation time. Mwm would prompt me for the position, I'd click button 1, and the window would come up with the default size. I looked through the man page, searching for "size", but found nothing obvious. I then started experimenting with press/drag combinations. Button 2 didn't do what I wanted. Aha! Button 1 press/drag did the trick. It seems to me that when Button 1 is first pressed, the cursor should change from the upper left cursor (|-) to the lower right cursor (_|) and the cursor should be warped to the default lower right corner. The current behavior is that the user must move the mouse with Button 1 depressed before the cursor type and position changes. This is what threw me at first. I pressed Button 1, but saw no immediate cursor change. I'm sure someone from OSF can pass this on to the mwm development/enhancement group as an RFE. Thx, -- Skip (montanaro@crdgw1.ge.com)
