In using motif, I see around me people have many differnt colors, backgrounds, and characteristics of their own setup. BUT, the selected window, or the active window, is always highlighed as an aqua-green color... this seems to be standard at our site, but i'd like to change that color... is there a way to do it??? Thanks much. - Chris ._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._.._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._. You can add the following to your .Xdefaults: Mwm*activeBackground: puce I also use: Mwm*title*activeBackground: red3 Mwm*title*activeForeground: white just to drive the point home. Incidentally, I have my own app-defaults directory which is named in the environment variable XAPPLRESDIR, and the above are in the file Mwm. It's a recommended technique to avoid overloading your .Xdefaults (actually, at R4, use of XUSERFILESEARCHPATH is more recommended). -- David Brooks dbrooks@osf.org Systems Engineering, OSF uunet!osf.org!dbrooks
