i would be just begining to write interfaces using motif. i request all knowlegable netters to kindly give me pointers to all the necessary material a beginner needs to have. thanks in advance. -subra

Then Get the OSD/Motif Programmer's Guide and Programmer's Reference, also published by Prentice Hall. Depending on how mu Xlib you'll be using, also get the X Window System, 2nd edition, by Scheifler and Gettys, published by Digital Press.
