When I compile the newly released MOTIF demos, I keep getting tons of key translation errors, and none of the text widgets accept any keyboard input. This seems to occur with all of the demo programs. Why is this happening? Ernest Hua Tandem Computers 408-285-5580 ernest@tandem.com

Why is this happening? You didn't "install" the XKeysymDB in the lib/Xm directory. Go back and do "make install", it should say something, like: **INSTALLING** XKeysymDB in /usr/lib/X11 or **NOT** installing new XKeysymDB -- Kaleb Keithley Jet Propulsion Labs kaleb@thyme.jpl.nasa.gov causing trouble again.
