Can someone suggest (and perhaps post an example of) a method for popping up a shell widget of some kind that can be used for drawing graphics primitives? The main questions that need to be answered are: . what should the "shell widget" be? . what child widget[s] should be created? . which widget should be used to obtain the window for drawing? -- Dr. Victor L.
