I'm writing a digital simulator for X and the work is almost done, except that I would like to use an XmFileSelectionDialog to open and save files. I guess most of you have written your own "glue" routines to this widget and I wondering if someone would be willing to share this code with me. I usually program on the Macintosh, so I would naturally be delighted to have something that works like the Macintosh standard file routines. The save dialog box could take a file name, pop up the dialog box letting the user make choices and return a flag and the file name. The boolean flag tells if the user canceled. It looks like Motif only has one dialog for the two functions. I used XmCreateFileSelectionDialog(toplevel,"selector",0,0) to create a dialog. I haven't tried doing anything with it, since it looked like something a programmer shouldn't have to deal with. I'll make the digital simulator available when it is ready and if you want, I can even mention the people who helped me with this. We only have Motif 1.0. ____________________________________________________________________________ / Juri Munkki / Helsinki University of Technology / Wind / Project / / jmunkki@hut.fi / Computing Center Macintosh Support / Surf / STORM / ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
