I am posting this for a friend of mine, who is going to Peru this fall.
He is requesting some general suggestions for a two week stay in Lima, Cuzco
(Machu Picchu, of course), Pucallpa, and other places of archeological or
scenic interest. Is it worth including a 2-day excursion to Puno and lake
Titicaca from Cuzco? How about taking the train ride from Lima to Huancayo and
then flying back to Lima? Is it worth staying overnight at Paracas, or can one
enough in a day-trip from Lima? Any other suggestions?
