Why is it that when I create a message dialog box parented by a pushbutton in a menu bar I can't set it to DIALOG_APPLICATION_MODAL? If I create the same dialog box from a pushbutton that's not in the menubar, I can do it no problem. What can I do if I want to popup a message from an item in the menubar and I don't want the main window of the application to hide this message under any circumstances and make the user respond to that message before he can do anything else with the application?
