Hi I have an application which has a RowColumn Widget as the base and this row column widget has within it the following widgets: 1 menu bar widget 2 label widget 3 scrolledtext widget 4 seperator widget 5 bulletin board widget a. 3 scrolled text widget b. a pushbutton widget c. a label widget Now my problem is, that I have located all the widgets with specific x and y locations. However if I resize the entire window with the window manager function, the widgets are not resized accordingly (because of their specific x and y locations). Also the rowcolumn widget gets cut of when the size of the window is reduced, and hence the scrolled text does not get reduced as well. (i.e the scrollbars get chopped off). I was wondering if someone would have a solution to the above problem. Is there probably a better way of doing it so I can dynamically allocate the location of the widgets? Or should I just get the relative locations of the widgets by querying the geometry. I must mention that the row column widget is contained in a popup shell that is popped up from the main application using XtCreatePopupShell. Any help will be appreciated. Please email.
