So far, I have not been able to tell the Window Manager anything at all by way of any shell widget. I have had to use the X calls for all WM hints. (The Xm*Protocol* functions also work as advertised.) -- George Mitchell; TSSI; 8205 SW Creekside Place; Beaverton, OR 97005
