I have a question about using the XmScrollingWindowWidget. I have written a small program that creates a ScrollingWindow with a DrawingArea child. This works fine. The DrawingArea is about 3 times bigger that the ScrollWindow, so I got both horizontal and vertical scroll bars. Also, the percentage of DrawingArea visible was reflected in the scroll bars. I am have set the AUTOMATIC scroll resource. Next I tried to make the ScrollingWindow a child of a Bulletin Board, so I could have several of these, but now the Drawing Area widgets have corrupted width and heights. The scroll bars are showing only a small fraction of the DrawingArea as visible in the window, even though I am explicitly setting the width and height. DOes anyone know what causes this wierd behavior. I also tried making the ScrollingWindow a child of a DrawingArea, and a RowColumn, all with the same results. Is there some resource I need to set in order to get the scroll bars to always reflect the size of the ScrollWindow Child? Please HELP!!! E-mail if possible, and I'll post a summary if anyone is interested. Thanks! --------------------------------------------------------------- Nancie P. Matson NET: nancie@hal.CSS.GOV ENSCO INC.
