When I use oclock with mwm, a rectangular area is drawn around the clock face. This area is the same light grey color used by mwm for background windows. Is there anyway to get rid of this area, and have truly round windows? I have looked at the code, and it appears that it attempts to shape the windows it attaches to the client. I'm not sure why it's not succeeding. Is this a known "problem"? Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just me? Some information: using X11.4, patched through patch #18 using OSF/Motif 1.1 oclock appears properly round when used with twm clientDecoration is set to none for oclock; no border or title bar the rectangular area does not appear to be the window matte I can live without round clocks, but I have applications in mind where this problem would be a serious drawback. Works fine for me. Do you have -DSHAPE when you build your mwm?

Thanks to those who responded. I found that -DSHAPE was defined in MWMDEFINES rather than MWM_DEFINES. Amazing how many times I must have looked at that without noticing. :-( Thanks. -- Joe Green jgreen@modcomp.UUCP Modular Computer Systems, Inc. modcomp!jgreen@uunet.UU.NET uunet!modcomp!jgreen
