Reply-To: jerryl@is.morgan.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi - Can people send me samples of code that show exactly how you set and retrieve values in the various fields of the _MOTIF_WM_HINTS property? I've looked at the Motif Programmer's Manual and read Young's chapter on X-Window properties, but it's not entirely clear. Specifically, I want to be able to PROGRAMATICALLY do the following for INDIVIDUAL client applications. I know about the Mwm resources that control some of these things. I want to be able to do it in a program using the _MOTIF_WM_HINTS property. 1. Remove and/or make insensitive specific items on a given window's system menu (like removing or greying out the "Close" button). 2. Control an individual window's frame decoration (border, icon button, resize handles, etc.) I want to be able to change these attributes on a per-window, not per-client basis. Thanks.
