[comp.windows.x.motif] using widget in a resources file, and setting pointer

I have spent the morning reading the osf documentation and I cannot seem to find
the answers.

1. I am using a XmForm widget and I want to use the resource file to tell it how
   to arrange the widgets.  When I give it the widget name for the leftWidget
   resource it tells me that it cannot convert string to widget.  How do I 
   do this?

2. I want to specify a pointer cursor to be used by a widget.  The only thing I
   could find was menuCursor.  I would like to specify it for other widgets.  How
   do I do this?
