I am traveling to Isreal on June 10th and have really no idea what type of weather to expect... If anyone out there has any idea please let me know through mail. Thanks, Mitchell Faust **************************************************************************** Have I been to busy to notice or has the World always been this way?

It's hot!! You can be mighty sure that you will not have rain.. The rainy season ends in April and usually doesnt begin until November...The cities on the Mediterannean coast (Tel-Aviv) tend to be muggy, humid and sticky during the middle of the day. Jerusalem is drier and the evenings can be cool. The Negev (Beersheva) is hot and dry..The coast of the Red Sea is hot and dry..The hills Gallilee and Haifa a bit cooler, occasionally breezes.. In general choose comfortable COTTON clothing for daytime..Synthetics are sticky and uncomfortable..Have very good sunglasses...a must. Also make sure you have headgear..A small white tennis hat with a small brim is extremely useful. I used to wear a US navy sailor hat with the brim down...Comfortable footgear...The Israeli leather sandal is extremely well made and very good for walking on uneven ground... And the best advice for being comfortable is to eat the Israeli diet rather that an American one while there. Drink lots of liquid during the day, either juices or hot tea... And have fun..it's a beautiful country.. Shush
