I've been playing around with the xmeditor we received with Motif
1.0.1 and 1.1.1 on our Apollos here. They compile fine and seem to run fine
until I want to save a file. I get a response "Unable to save file" or
something like that. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If you have,
did you find a work-around solution?

Check the permissions on the directory you're in. Dont use the xmeditor for code development. If you look at the code, the file-save routine block writes the contents of the text widget ## INCLUDING ## the \0 at the end. The C compiler will ralph all over that \0. -- Russell Dickerson Internet: dickerson@vf.jsc.nasa.gov Lockheed (LESC), A22 =================================== SSE System Project X Windows & Motif on Apollo/PC/Mac Space Station Freedom Phone +1 713 283 5193
