I am planning a two-week vacation to Southeastern Canada in August. I am just beginning to gather ideas on where to concentrate my time. Probably Nova Scotia and Prince Edwards Island, but possibly New Brunswick or Newfoundland. I will be going from the Boston area and am interested in information on trains, inns, camping, bicycling, horsepack trips, beaches, ferries, terrain, sights, local culture, and the people. I am hoping to plan a vacation that is relaxing, yet adventurous and not very touristy. Please send me any information and suggestions that you may have and try to sway me to focus on your favorite area.
