[comp.windows.x.motif] disable titlebars in Motif

mike@pyrdc.UUCP (Mike Whitman) (06/20/91)

when using the twm window manager I could suppress titles on windows by putting
each window in the NoTilel group of my .twmrc. Is there a way to do this with
mwm? I know that I will lose some functionallity by doing this but in windows
like xbiff and xcalc it is not a big lose. Thanks,

Try setting the resource "*clientDecoration" as such:

    Ex.	Mwm*Clock*clientDecoration: none
	Mwm*XLoad*clientDecoration: +border
