[comp.windows.x.motif] XmNdeleteResponse <- XmUNMAP

carroll@cs.uiuc.edu (Alan M. Carroll) (06/22/91)

If I create a topLevelShellWidget with the XmNdeleteReponse resource
set to XmUNMAP, the shell just ignores the WM_DELETE_WINDOW message,
as far as I can tell. In order to get it to unmap, I had to put my own
callback on the protocol message. All the manual says is that "the
appropriate action is taken". What is supposed to happen with XmUNMAP
that is different from XmDO_NOTHING?
