Is there some way to specify the position of an icon on the screen? In certain cases, I want to override Motif's placement policy. For example, using "xterm", I thought the "#" option specified the icon geometry. But in this case, the icon is always at the upper-left corner of the screen. I'm running Motif1.? on the DECstation 3100 (Ultrix 4.1) if that makes any difference. Please respond via EMAIL, as our site does not (yet) carry this newsgroup.
