Hi!
I'm posting this problem for a fellow worker developing a Motif 1.1
application to display fonts:

We're having problems loading fonts on our Sparcstation. We use
XLoadFont, passing in the filename of the font instead of the full descriptive
name that is returned by XListFonts. Our approach works fine on DecStations
and HP 9000s but not on SparcStations. Our hunch is that the fonts.dir
file is set up differently, or perhaps not accessed, on the SparcStation. It
seems that the font filename has not been equated with its full descriptive
name.
Any insights?
