In my opinion, the $10,000 that StepStone charges for graphics runtime makes very little sense. It is doubtful that many persons, other than software system developers or other class authors, would pay the initial $9000 for a development version. This price, in my view, should entitle one to use the Graphics Classes and all other classes included with no further encumberances. The current policy is as wierd as selling a carpenter a hammer but charging a run-time fee on every product built using it. What makes the Graphics Classes a special case? Should I not also stop at the toll-gate whenever I use some method defined on Object?
