I am planning to drive to Maine from New Jersey in early July. I intend to go up I-95 to the Boothbay Harbor area. Can anyone tell me if it is worth the extra miles to take the 495 bypass around Boston? It looks like it makes for a significantly longer trip, unless traffic is really bad in the Boston area. I would appreciate any help regarding this problem. Any other suggestions regarding this route would also be helpful. Thanks! Responses can be sent to: Ken Peabody mhuxd!kwp
