MARK YOUR CALENDARS For the past seven years the Sun User Group (SUG) has produced THE Sun user event of the year. The conference provides the opportunity for engineers, scientists, third-party vendors, end-users, developers, executives and others to listen, share experiences, and learn how to better deal with both hardware and software decisions facing Sun users today. This year's show will feature: - Over 100 sessions in 5 major categories: Systems Administration, Performance, Scientific Applications, Commercial Applications, and Instructional. - Tutorials will run all day Sunday. About half the sessions will be offered by Sun Educational Services and half by other emminent Unix notables. Topics will be: XView, Device Drivers, Topics in Systems Administration, The Internet and its Protocols, Systems Administration 4.1 Update, Basic Site Security, Introduction to C++, OpenWindows for Application Developers. - Exhibits by Catalyst and third-party vendors, housed in a 43,000 sq' convention center. See the latest software ported to Suns; Many hardware peripherals will also be present Early Bird registrations are currently being accepted. Until September 7, 1990 the fee for this three day (lunches included) event will be $275.00. After September 7 the price increases to $315.00. Register early, before this show is sold-out!!
