Greetings! I have a memory board for an Intel 386 system, which regrettably will not fit in the Zenith systems I currently use. I query to comp.sys.intel got me several responses, all identifying it as the board below: >>The board is a full-size PC-like card, with a very long length bus >>slot connector, and is fitted with 2Mb of 1 x 256kb RAM. Various >narrow white stickers around the board are labeled as follows: >> >>(C) Intel 86 PBA 149385-001 SNW86340 SSBC 386MEM020 >I looked up this board in the December 1988 Intel Product Catalog. >It is listed as a pSBC386MEM020 on page L-9. The description says that >it is "A 2MB 32-bit memory expansion board for the system 301, 301Z, >SBC386AT, and 386ATZ." These machines are all computers manufactured >by Intel. Some of them may be used by other manufactures for their computers >and relabeled with a house name. The cost for this board in the September >1989 price list is given as $1039.00. Since I can not use this board I would like to find a happy home for it, with someone who can use it. I received no replies at my asking price, but as I have no use for this board I'm willing to accept a reasonable offer from someone who does. :-) The board appears to be new, in an anti-static bag, although I have no way of testing it. Please reply by e-mail to conserve net-bandwidth. Thanks! -- Manfred W. Prange (fred@cetus.mi.org) <internet>!umich!cetus!fred Real Guitars Have Wings -Wishbone Ash
