This is not my machine, so don't reply to me. I will say that I had one of these and I really liked it. Sort of like an apple-IIGS without the glitz and price. The Machine is in Baltimore Maryland, USA ************************* Start of Ad ***************************************** FOR SALE Commadore C-128D When the world got bored with the C-64 (the ultimate game machine), Commadore came up with this. This processor can emulate a C-64 perfectly, so its got: 6802 processor color graphics hardware sound chips oodles of software (I've seen C-64 software being sold by the Kbyte) PLUS C-128 enhancements: memory management (an overlay scheme), 128K of RAM (expandable to ~1meg) a software switchable clock speed or 1 or 2mhz (C-64 was 1mhz only). high resolution monochrome graphics hardware PLUS a Z-80 processor and support chips, and it runs CPM! The part that I liked was that its all software switchable, so you could have a program that ran on alternating processors :-). This is the unit with the built in 1571 drive an detachable keyboard. The early C-128's had the kbd built into the cpu, ala the C-64 or appleII. The 1571 is the fast drive (the slow drive is a 1541). Also included: 1 Commadore color monitor 2 joysticks games, floppys, books. Original cartons. $300 firm, U-ship.
