Well, the time has come. Time to part with my old friend, my HP-41CV and his merry host of accessories. He and I have crunched many a good set of bits together :-) I just don't use him enough anymore to justify keeping him captive. Some deserving, more math oriented person than I should own him. Here's what he's got: * HP-41CV * 82160A HP-IL adaptor * 82162A HP-IL thermal printer * 82153A Barcode Wand * 82182A Time Module * 82104A Mag Card Reader * Rechargable Calculator battery pack. * Spare printer battery. * Disposable Calculator battery pack * Spare HP-IL cable * Statistics Pac * Math Pac * About 200 mag cards * A Custom Built Leather carrying case for the Calculator and printer. * Calendars solutions pack * Time Module Solutions I pack * "Creating your own Barcode" manual * Lend/Lease/Savings Solutions Pack * Heating/Ventilating/Air Conditioning solutions pack * ~ 3 boxes of thermal paper * A number of custom-written applications, most of them having to do with nuclear physics or HVAC. I supply a notebook detailing the program listings, the design methodology and the basis. All for $350.00 What a steal! The custom leather case should be of interest to any engineeer who works in a factory or other harsh environment. This case is made of Holster leather and is in two connecting pieces. The larger piece holds the printer, wand, charger, HP-IL adaptor and spare paper in glove-leather padded compartments. The calculator holster attaches to this case and has space for the calculator and card reader plus a pack of mag cards. The calculator holster mounts with 2 GI-style canteen clips (the kind that slide open) that allows quick removal from the printer case and quick attachment to your best. All closures are Velcro. The printer case is equipped with 2 "Dee" rings designed for a camera-style shoulder sling. The case is nicely finished and exhibits a significant amount of scroll work. I comissioned this case from a fellow who works at Three Mile Island and does custom leather work on the side. The concept is that one could work in the plant and acquire readings or do calculations and then return to the office to print or plot the results. I used the unit in this environment during the calibration of radiation measurement systems which require a great deal of complex math. Terms: First-come first-served. The first cash in my hands takes the goodies. I return the rest uncashed. I can now do UPS COD since UPS was nice enough to open a center nearby. COD is Certified instruments only. Prepay takes precedence over COD. All items work. I guarantee that they worked when they left the office and will only ship them insured. Shipping damage will be your responsibility. No other warranties apply. Certified instruments prefered. Checks will be held until they clear. My bank told me today that this takes up to 7 days in spite of the new law. You must pay the actual shipping costs. I suggest you include excess shipping; I will refund the difference. I will NOT make up a shortage and you will be highly inconvenienced by the process. DO NOT CALL ME regarding this sale! I hate the interruption and there is literally NOTHING to be learned by phone that cannot be handled by E-mail. I'm posting my phone number ONLY so that people who absolutely cannot get E-mail through or who have sent money and want to know the status can call. I HIGHLY SUGGEST you make E-mail work for you. It is our friend. NO I will NOT sell this stuff piecemeal. I assembled it as a working kit and I expect to sell it that way. If you see this ad more than 3 or 4 days after it was posted (12/03/90), please E-mail before sending an order. My experience has been that most things I've advertised have sold in that interval. PUT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS and YOUR PHONE NUMBER ON YOUR PAYMENT! Please also specify what it is you want. I'm moving out a lot of stuff now and I might not be able to tell what you want from the price.
