After no responses to my last post, I'm real eager to sell this drive and pay off my charge card! I'll throw in a cable and a terminator (at least a $30 value total),I'll throw in a CD-ROM disk catalog and "CD-ROM Shopper Mag" and I'll pay for UPS ground shipping. If you're a Macintosh developer and don't have a CD-ROM drive yet, what are you waiting for! It can also be used with any PC compatible computer with standard 8-bit bus SCSI adapter card and the appropriate software driver. MAKE ME AN OFFER! Asking $585 for whole package. Macintosh software, SCSI cable and terminator included. I'll pay for ground shipping. Suggested retail: $895 Educorp mail order: $599 (doesn't include terminator or shipping) New drive, still in package, taken out to demo once, made by CDTechnology using Toshiba's drive mechanism at 350 millisecond access time (the fastest on the market). It's a very compact design, 2" x 6" x 9", the power adapter is separate and can be exchanged with a 2 hr battery pack for portable use. The casing is sturdy metal, but the drive only weighs in at 4 lbs. Included with drive are CD-ROM coupons and a form for a free ImageClub Letterpress Art & Type Vendor cd disk. Check the 3/90 MacUser mag for their CD-ROM review (this drive placed tops!) CDTechnology has added a pre-amp phono/RCA jack since the review.
