Folks, I have the following Model 100 system I'd like to offer up for the remarkable sum of $350.00 OBO. I'll even throw in shipping. Model 100 Portable Laptop Computer w 32K of RAM Model 100 Portable Disk Drive 1 (the single sided 3.5" version) Printer cable RS-232 cable Interface cable for external units (shielded 40 pin DIP to 40 pin header) Documentation: Model 100 User's Manual Model 100 Service Manual (the real 'where do the wires go book') Inside the Model 100 - All the goodies about what's where in the ROMs and how to use and abuse it. Disks with the standard distribution as well as the dissasembler from Inside the Model 100, xmodem, a function plotter, assembler for UNIX (written in C) a loader to turn .hex files into .co files, a formatter that works with the DWP210, and a bunch of other stuff I don't remember. For the uninitiated, the M100 was one of the first laptops, has a 40 col x 8 line screen, does not run DOS, but has built in modem, serial port, printer port, bar code reader port, and cassette port. There are BASIC, scheduler, telecom, text editor, and address packages in ROM. All in all a nice little package. Why? I need a real PC laptop. and I can't afford one straight out of the bank account.
