wm@tekchips.UUCP (Wm Leler) (10/15/85)

Expo 86 in Vancouver B.C. will not be like the fairs in
Knoxville or New Orleans. It is going to be the largest fair in
North America since the 1939 fair in New York. It is the first
fair in North America with all three of the US, USSR and China.
The Ramses II exhibit from the Cairo museum will be there, the
largest fleet of DC-3's since WWII, the Kirov Ballet, 35 tall
ships, the biggest display of locomotives since 1948, and on and
on. In all, 40 countries, 8 provinces, 3 states, 19
corporations, and over 14 million people. It will be open
from May 2 to October 13.

Until January 6, you can get 3 day adult tickets to Expo 86 for
US $24.95, children and senior citizens for US $12.50. The
three days do not need to be consecutive, but they should be
used by the same person. Per day at the door will be $20 (Canadian).

These tickets are available from any Sea-First bank in
Washington state, or you can call EXPO in Canada at 604/660-EXPO
(660-3976) with a credit card (MC, Visa or Amex).
