Expo 86 in Vancouver B.C. will not be like the fairs in Knoxville or New Orleans. It is going to be the largest fair in North America since the 1939 fair in New York. It is the first fair in North America with all three of the US, USSR and China. The Ramses II exhibit from the Cairo museum will be there, the largest fleet of DC-3's since WWII, the Kirov Ballet, 35 tall ships, the biggest display of locomotives since 1948, and on and on. In all, 40 countries, 8 provinces, 3 states, 19 corporations, and over 14 million people. It will be open from May 2 to October 13. Until January 6, you can get 3 day adult tickets to Expo 86 for US $24.95, children and senior citizens for US $12.50. The three days do not need to be consecutive, but they should be used by the same person. Per day at the door will be $20 (Canadian).
