I am coming to USA next week, and I am interested in finding good sources of SCSI-disks for my 486. The what I am looking for is from 300 to 700 MB HDs. The controller I have is Adaptek AHA-1542A, I am running DELL unix sys V R.4. I have OPTI chipset on my motherboard. At the moment I have Quantum 210S, but I am running out of diskspace!!! So, some good information about disks, that are either compatible or non-compatible with setup is needed, too. I am looking for some tape drives, TCP/IP cards, modems and other computer stuff, too. Any kind of information of experiences with different SCSI HDs with Adaptek 1542A is welcome.
