----- News saved at 24 Jul 90 20:38:22 GMT I'd like to sell this system as a package: Amiga 2000 1084s stereo monitor 48MB scsi HD w/supra wordsync controller 3 megs RAM internal 2400 baud modem I've got ~120 disks of PD/shareware, and will stuff as much onto the HD as you'd like. I'll also send a 68010 (took it out recently due to an incompatibility problem with a piece of SW I was using, but is OK w/most other things.) Has the 1 meg Agnus. If you're a local buyer (i.e. just about anyplace in DE that I'm relatively familiar with) and are unfamiliar with the system I'd be more than happy to set it up & get you started with it. I'm a Poor College Student (tm) who is hoping to take advantage of educational discounts on a 3000 sometime in the next few months, but I'd like to get it before classes start again, so I'll have to try to sell this now and be Amiga-less till I can save up the rest.... Anyway, I'd like $2000 for the complete setup. Everything works, with one small exception- if you try to play a game with a joystick while the mouse is plugged into port 1, the joystick will send your plane/character/ ball/cursor/whatever spinning around the world to the right. (This never bothered me much... I play about 1 game/week, and these usually aren't joystick-intensive). Oh, yeah... the mouse is, of course, included. The monitor has a "Flicker master" polarized screen on it to cut down on the annoyance of interlace flicker (far cry from a flicker-fixer, but hey, it's what I could afford...). -- Gibberish .sig for sale or lease. is spoken Contact don@vax1.acs.udel.edu for more information. here. FOR SALE: Amiga 2000 3 megs RAM 1.3 ROMS 1 meg agnus 48 meg HD 3.5" floppy 2400zi internal modem mouse & keyboard (of course) Will stuff HD with PD/shareware (have ~120 floppies full of it). Act now & I'll even throw in a CD player! (Sort of unrelated (unless you buy an audio digitizer :-) but it's been collecting dust ever since I bought a portable). I bought the system in September. The only problem it has is that if you have a mouse & joystick in at the same time, the joystick tends to think you're steering to the right endlessly. This never bothered me much because I so seldom use a joystick. Asking $2000 for the entire system. -- Gibberish .sig for sale or lease. is spoken Contact don@vax1.acs.udel.edu for more information. here. DISCLAIMER: It's all YOUR fault.

I know enpough of these Amiga 2000's are getting dumped on te Net, but I would like to try and sell mine. I have the following: * Amiga 2000 w/1.3 ROMS, Fatter Agnus (1MB Chip RAM), updated motherboard. * Commodore 2091 SCSI controller w/49MB HD no extra memory on card * Commodore Memory Expansion Board (2MB on) * Commodore 2088 XT Bridgecard * 2 Internal 3.5" Drives 1 5.25" Drive (for Bridgecard) * Commodore 1080 RGB Monitor * Supra 2400 Baud Modem * Panasonic 1091i Dot Matrix Printer * All relevant cables for the machine, monitor, printer, and modem * All original manuals, boxes, disks, etc... * Assortment of Commercial/PD Software Machine is in excellent shape. I am going to medical school in the Fall and could certainly use some tuition money. I am asking to sell the whole bundle as any individual pieces would be useless to me. Please contact me via EMAIL at this address or if you can afford to and are interested call me at (814) 867-1273 or (814) 867-7322 (after May 19). I feel that $2200 is a reasonable price given the printer as barely been used and the computer is in terrific shape. Please pass this offer along to friends. I would like to sell locally (Penn State, Pittsburgh, DC, Richmond (or somewhere in my travel path to see my Mom). If you tink that is asking to much please make me an offer. Sincerely Frank C. Smeeks
