I am planning to drive from New York to Montreal (and back) over
the Thanksgiving weekend. Would any native Quebecois (or other
familiar with the area) give me some inside information about
the must-see sights, interesting/cheap accommodation, restaurants,
and anything else I ought to know? Is it a good idea to buy
Canadian dollar travellers' cheques here instead of trying to
change US dollars in Canada? How difficult would it be to survive
with my broken French? I understand that there is a large
underground "city" which is worth seeing. Is this true?
