I'm getting married next month, and we've decided to honeymoon in Maui. Obviously, there will be plenty of beach time, but I'd appreciate suggestions of other things to do (aside from the obvious :-)). Please send me mail, and I'll post a summary. Thanks much. -- John Bossert Data I/O Corporation Redmond, WA uw-beaver!entropy!dataio!{bossert,usenet}

If you like golf there are two fantastic golf courses on the island. One is Kapalua near Lahaina and the other is Wailea. Both are fantastic courses. Kapalua has some unbelievable views of the mountains. Kim at trsvax

I am going to Maui in December for a few weeks and would like to do some serious snorkling in the island area. If you know of any great locations (primarily for beginner-intermediate level people), I would appreciate hearing from you.

Thank you for the many wonderful responses to my quest to find good snorkling places on Maui. Winter has arrived here in Denver-- 5 new inches of snow and c-o-l-d temperatures-- and of course with this weather I am again thinking about my 3 week vacation in Maui next month. Since the response was so great about Maui, I was wondering if anyone has any information about the island of Kauai. Any info (good hotels, places to visit, hike, or snorkel, places to avoid, etc.) you have to offer would be greatly appreciated. Beach dreaming in Denver
